Ergonomic Curved Keyboard Design
After studying the usage patterns of people who type on a keyboard for long periods of time, BenQ has created a special curved lower edge design for each key (replacing the usual sharp edge). Accommodating the fact that when people type, their fingertips generally move upwards when in contact with the keyboard, this design provides a smoother interface for rapid movement. The pad area of each key is also 13% larger than those on regular keyboards, reducing accidental strikes of wrong keys. In addition, special consideration has been given to the cushioning of the underside of the keycaps. By fine-tuning the force feedback provided when a key is pressed, it reduces fatigue from excessive resistance each time it is struck, increasing overall comfort.
